I personally don't think it is acceptable and the editor shouldn't do it because it makes beauty standards higher.

Yes because it is false advertising.

Like little changes like making her hair bigger not making her stomach flatter.

Fashion photography photoshops everything and photojournalism just shows it how it is.

They all take a picture of a natural person. But then the fashion photographers edit it all to make it "pleasing" .

To understand what type of portraits that are ok like all natural.

Because guys can't be changed as much as girls.
