A. What is the most powerful image from the pictures printed in the Denver Post over the three weeks they published images from the year of coverage? Why?
The most powerful image is the "down and dirty" because it shows the emotion the guy is going through. He has been through such a hard week and is getting heat rashes.

B. How do the images work together to tell a story?
They work together to tell a story by the emotion every picture carries. 
C. How do the captions enhance the photographs?
It gives more depth to the story than just the picture.
D. Summarize the story of Ian Fisher, based just on the captions.
Ian Fisher is a 17 year old boy deciding wether to get into the army at such young age. He decided he wanted to sign up and he did.
E. For the photos in which Ian is the main subject of the photos, in what tense are the verbs usually written?
The verbs were written in past tense .

They usually provide what's going on in the photo.

They usually provide more information than what is given.

They usually provide a quote.
5. Do any captions include a quote? 

yes, down and dirty.
6. Are there any that have four sentences
Not that I saw.
G. Why do you think it is possible to tell a complete story with just photos and captions?
A photo always has a million words with it. The photo shows the emotion and the caption tells a short explanation of what is happening.
 If you can create a story with just photos and captions, why bother writing a story at all?
Writing a story can be more detailed and thought out than 2-3 sentences.
