Academic Shoot Reflection and Critique

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you?
I could not avoid mergers it was really hard to not let something not get into the picture that I didn't want.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specfic example of what you did to do this correctly.
Focusing the camera because it wouldn't focus like i wanted it to so i had to adjust the lens and then it worked better but I think i got the hang of focusing it better.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?
I would take more photos and also get pictures from different angles.

4. What things would you do the same?
I would keep the flash on like i did.

5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
Simplicity because it means focusing on one main subject.

6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
Avoiding mergers because it's difficult for me not to let something in the picture that doesn't belong there.

7. What rule are you still not totally clear on and what can you do to figure out what that rule is?
Framing because I just don't get what it means still and how to do it.

- I like how they focused the camera and the color range

-I also like the subject he decided to use.

-He could've done the lighting better and maybe different angles.
