Harry Callahan is who I chose who is my favorite from "Great Black and White Photographers Part 1". He was born in October 22 of 1912 in Detroit Michigan. He went to college at Michigan State University, but then later realized college isn't for him so he then started working as a clerk. He bought his first camera in 1938 and then joined a camera club. In the early 1960's, he went to Rhode Island School of Design and he founded the photography department there. He published 8 books all about photography and more. He was a real famous photographer until he died in March 15 of 1999 being 86 years old.
This photo is a self portrait of himself.
A lot of his photos were of his wife Eleanor.
